Highlight and copy the embed code. Go to the Canvas page where the pdf file will be embedded. Edit the page, and then click the HTML Editor link to edit the pages html code. Paste the embed code. Change the width and height to a size that allows the user to see the entire page. For example: width=1200 height=1000
Click on the + sign at the top right corner of your module and select Add File. 3. Select any file you already have in your course files, or browse and upload a new file. Then click Add Item.
Uploading Word/PDF Documents Go to the page of your ePortfolio where you wish to encorporate the document. Click the blue plus button either next to add content or in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Select Upload File and chose your document. PDFs are recomended. Your file will look like this.
Choose Tools, click on Edit PDF, then on Link, and finally, select Add/Edit Web or Document Link. Select the area that you want to hyperlink. Then, in the Create Link dialog box, choose the options you want for the link appearance and click on the Open a Web Page button for the link action. Hit Next and enter the link.

Attach or embed files To attach a file, go to Insert Attach File in PDF. To embed a file, go to Insert Embed File in PDF. Browse to and select the file that you want to insert, and click Select on the Select File dialog. The following screenshot shows attached and embedded files in a source document: Figure 1.

Insert a file or image into your page Go to Insert Files from the editor toolbar and select any of the previously uploaded files. Drag the file directly into the editor to upload and insert it in a single step. Type ! and choose an attached file from the autocomplete dropdown.
