how to an invisible zipper the first and probably most crucial step is to lightly iron the zipper so that the coil lays flat here to side by side before and after ironing Iamp;#39;m going to refer to the side with the zipper pull as the good side of the zipper and while unzipped youamp;#39;re going to want to pin the fabric and zipper good sides together so that the coil is facing away from the edge of the fabric I donamp;#39;t have an invisible zipper foot just the regular zipper foot that came with my machine but that can be used just as well to sew as close as you can to the coil after that stepamp;#39;s done you can pin the other side of the zipper to the second piece of fabric good sides together and again sew as close as you can to the coil after youamp;#39;ve got the zipper sewn in the last step is just to close off the bottom for this you can close a zipper and align the fabric good sides together to sew up with the same seam allowance used to the zipper once thatamp;#39;

An exposed zipper is a zipper installed in such a way that its teeth are visible.

On this machine theres a button in the back that releases a presser foot. And then Im going to slide my new presser foot underneath.
What does an invisible zip look like? Just like fabric, zips have a right and a wrong side (or a front and back). With invisible zips the teeth of the zip are on the back or wrong side of the zip. This is so that they are hidden and invisible on the inside of the garment or item you are making.

So that the needle can sew right down in the center. As close to that Groove as possible. So its holding the teeth. Open. And then its able to stitch.

To compare, both feet have very different designs, sewing steps, and ease of use. For the invisible zipper foot, there will be two grooves in the middle of the foot. This allows for a centered stitching line. (Keep in mind that you may need to also adjust your machines needle position if you use it).
Concealed (also known as hidden or invisible) zippers are coil zippers where you cannot see the elements because they are behind the tape. Normally, all that is seen is the slider. You might see this zipper in bags, pockets, formal wear, and other garments where a hidden seam is preferred.
Now, I cannot deny that using an invisible zipper foot is 1000X easier than a regular zipper foot. The way the foot is designed allows your needle to get incredibly close to the zipper teeth when sewing, without fear that you might accidentally sew over the teeth.
