itamp;#39;s been a few weeks since Wisconsin has passed its concealed carry law what does this mean it means that any Resident in Wisconsin can conceal and carry a weapon so what does this mean for schools surely you canamp;#39;t bring a weapon into the school so what is MATC doing to prevent this we got signs Wisconsin is the latest state to pass concealed carry law and only Illinois and Washington DC still donamp;#39;t have it MATC recently has had problems with weapons coming dangerously close to the campus and ever since the law pass we have seen these no weapon signs on the doors and in the hallways but these signs really make the students feel safe just posting signs doesnamp;#39;t really make me feel safe itamp;#39;s a lot like the freeway you know the sign says go 55 donamp;#39;t go beyond that doesnamp;#39;t mean anybody it really follows the sign knowing that there was a shooting only a couple months ago you know a black away from here putting up these signs doesnamp;

Campus Carry in Texas refers to the legal provision that allows licensed individuals to carry concealed handguns on public college campuses. For campus carry, the handgun must be concealed and the person carrying the gun must have a license to carry.
Guns Not Allowed: Secured areas of the Airport. Courthouse. Polling places on any voting days. Schools. Places of business with visible signage prohibiting handguns. Business permitted by TABC that derives 51% or more of its income from the sale of alcohol.
While both Oregon and Federal law forbid people from being on school property with firearms, concealed handgun license holders are exempt from both laws. Oregon statute 166.370 forbids firearms in public buildings which schools are, but subsection B saysthis section does not apply to:
Texas AM University does allow for an individual to carry a concealed handgun as outlined by the laws and regulations of the State of Texas, as well as the Rules and Regulations, set forth by Texas AM University.
