You must be at least 21 years old (or 18 years old for employment purposes only) to get a concealed carry permit in Maryland. Can you concealed carry weapons other than handguns in Maryland with a concealed carry permit (or under permitless carry if applicable)? No.
The LEOSA identification card is valid for one year from the date the applicant met the active duty standards for firearms qualification for the same type as the concealed firearm to be carried, as established by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission.

No weapons of any kind are permitted on premises. Items that present a risk of harm to person or property, are prohibited. No inappropriate behavior, loitering, solicitation, substance abuse, intoxication or criminal activity will be allowed.
The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) of 2004, and subsequent amendments, authorizes the concealed carry of firearms by law enforcement officers, retired law enforcement officers, military police and civilian police officers employed by the U.S. Government throughout the United States.
Starting October 1st, 2023, SB 1 bans public carry in most buildings by default unless a buildings owner or agent provides express consent to carry inside.
