An HTML hidden input, also known as a hidden field, is an HTML tag developers use during a web form submission to include data that isnt intended to be modifiable or viewable by the end user who submits the form. To add a hidden input, include it in your code as an input tag: .
elements of type hidden let web developers include data that cannot be seen or modified by users when a form is submitted.
If by lock you mean to lock the position so that your text box moves with the text, you do that with the Text Wrapping dialog box. On the Position tab there are two settings at the bottom: Move object with text and Lock anchor.
In the Format tab, find the Text Box Styles section. Click on it to show more options. In the Text Box Styles section, click on the Shape Outline option. Finally, select the option to hide or remove the outline.
We can use different form tag attributes like text boxes, text area, checkboxes, radio buttons, buttons, dropdown list, etc. to collect data from the users. We need to use the HTML type for hiding the input field. Using this attribute, the input field will no longer be visible on the page.
You can set CSS property border and outline to none and it would do the trick. input { border: none; outline: none; }
When you have your form displayed, and not the code, click on textbox1 to select it. In the property box, locate the Visible property and set it to False. Do the same for texbox2. When your form runs, the two textboxes will then be hidden.
Using HTML In this approach, we will use the HTML property to hide a value or text from the HTML Input control. The type=hidden attribute specifies that the input field should be hidden from the user interface.
