welcome back guys so in this video im going to be teaching you step by step of how to build this distressed floating concealment mantel as always the full cut list will be in the description as well as a link to the plans and all the components that you need for this build so to get started lets cut our larger items for this build the frame of the build later on we can get into adding in smaller parts as we go so once we get all of our lengths cut we can go ahead and go to the table saw and start ripping down our different widths for the material a lot of the parts of this build will actually have a 45 degree angle on one edge but im just going to cut square stock for now ill add that 45 here in a minute so with all of my parts cut into square stock im now going to put my 45 degree on so im just angling my table saw blade to 45 degrees and i always like to check for 45s just to make sure nothing has moved or shifted or you know got out of square especially whenever youre making
