The hidden attribute hides the element. You can specify either hidden (without value) or hidden=hidden. Both are valid. A hidden element is not visible, but it maintains its position on the page.
You can use the display property with the value none to hide elements using CSS. This method removes the element from the document flow, meaning it will not take up space and will be invisible to users.
Completely hiding elements can be done in 3 ways: via the CSS property display , e.g. display: none; via the CSS property visibility , e.g. visibility: hidden; via the HTML5 attribute hidden , e.g.
you could give it a class for example hide then use css to hide it: HTML: CSS: .hide { display: none; } if you want to show it again you could just use javascript to select the img tag (preferably give it an id and use that) then remove the class programmatically.
The defines a hidden input field.
By setting the value of display to none, the element will be hidden and wont take up any space on the page. You can add this CSS code inside a tag in the section of your HTML document, or you can link an external CSS file using the tag.
Follow these instructions: Open Google Chrome and go to a website. Here, we use hostinger.com. Right-click on any part of the web page and select Inspect. Enable the Inspect feature and click on the element you want to hide. Right-click on the code highlighted on the DOM tree and select Hide Element.
In HTML, you can insert an invisible character using the HTML entity code or character reference for the specific invisible character you want to use. One common invisible character is the zero-width space character (U+200B).
