- One of Excelamp;#39;s handy features is the ability to hide and un-hide sheets. Do you use this feature? Just put a yes or no in the comments below. Now hiding sheets is easy, you just click on the sheet or you select the sheets that you wanna hide by holding down the control key, you right mouse click, select hide. But now did you ever try to un-hide a lot of sheets at once? Unfortunately you canamp;#39;t simply hold down the control key, highlight the sheet names all at once to get them to un-hide. You have to do that one by one. But there are easier ways to get this done and Iamp;#39;m gonna show you three. (upbeat music) Let me show you different ways of un-hiding really quickly. Number one is to create a custom view of your workbook. But you have to do that right at the beginning. So before you start hiding stuff, go to view, custom view and save this view that you have inside custom views. All you have to do is click on add, give this view a name, Iamp;#39;m just gonna call

Hide or Unhide worksheets Right-click the sheet tab you want to hide, or any visible sheet if you want to unhide sheets. On the menu that appears, do one of the following: To hide the sheet, select Hide. To unhide hidden sheets, select them in the Unhide dialog that appears, and then select OK.
Hide sheets from view Open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Tap the sheet you want to hide. On the sheet tab, tap the Down arrow. . Tap Hide. This option wont show if your spreadsheet doesnt contain two or more sheets. Your sheet will be hidden from view.
Select the columns that you want to hide. If they are non-adjacent columns, press Ctrl to select them. Right-click on one of the selected columns and then right-click on it and select the Hide option.
Under Visibility, click Hide Unhide, and then click Unhide Rows or Unhide Columns. Under Cell Size, click Row Height or Column Width, and then in the Row Height or Column Width box, type the value that you want to use for the row height or column width.
To unhide, press Alt+W, U or click Unhide on the View tab of the ribbon.
Hide cell values Select the cell or range of cells that contains values that you want to hide. On the Home tab, click the Dialog Box Launcher next to Number. In the Category box, click Custom. In the Type box, select the existing codes. Type ;;; (three semicolons). Click OK.
If the workbook contains only very hidden sheets, you wont even be able to open the Unhide dialog box because the Unhide command will be disabled. If the workbook contains both hidden and very hidden sheets, the Unhide dialog will be available, but very hidden sheets wont be listed there.
Press Ctrl + 9 to hide selected rows, Ctrl + Shift + 9 to unhide any hidden rows, Ctrl + 0 (zero) to hide selected columns, and Ctrl + Shift + 0 to unhide any hidden columns.
