the new macbook pros have a bunch of improvements but one of the more controversial choices that apple made was adding a notch they said they did it to add extra screen real estate for the menu bar while being able to add a 1080p webcam but regardless of their reasoning some people absolutely hate the new notch if youamp;#39;re one of those people i have the perfect solution for you the fix is called top notch and before anybody says it no i wasnamp;#39;t paid by anyone to make this video i just think itamp;#39;s awesome software and it worked exactly how i hoped it would top notch allows the user to black out the menu bar while keeping the different icons perfectly visible and because of the new mini led screens when the menu bar is blacked out it looks completely black and i canamp;#39;t even make out the outline of the notch to my eyes the blacked out area looks like an oled screen it really is that good even when iamp;#39;m looking for it with the screen brightness maxed out i

Hide or show the toolbar: Choose View Hide Toolbar or View Show Toolbar. While working in full screen for some apps, choose View Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen. Remove a button: Hold down the Command key while you drag the item out of the toolbar until you see or hear a whoosh effect.
Heres how to do it: Click the Finder icon in your dock to open Finder. Navigate to the folder where you want to find hidden files. Press Command + Shift + . (the period key). This will show hidden files in the folder. To hide the files again, press Command + Shift + . again.
Press Command+Shift+Dot. Your hidden files will become visible. Navigate to the needed folder. Repeat step 2 to hide them again!
If you go in to system preferences and dock and menu bar settings you can uncheck the option to automatically show and hide menu bar in full screen so it stays on screen.
How to hide files on Mac Locate the files you want to hide. For easy access to these files, use the Finder feature on your Mac. Simultaneously, press Shift+CMD+Period (.) to hide the files. This procedure will not only hide your files, but it is also helpful when you want to access hidden files.
Click on the Apple Icon in the top left corner of the screen, then choose System Preferences. On the new System Preferences window, select Dock. On the Dock window, check or uncheck the Automatically hide and show the Dock option to your preference. The setting is automatically saved.
No problem, you can hide any file on your Mac by following these steps: Click on the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon) in your toolbar and search terminal. Type chflags hidden into the Terminal text field. Drop the file you want to hide into the Terminal window. Press the Enter key, and your file will now be hidden.
Stop browsing privately In the Safari app on your Mac, close the private window, switch to a non-private Safari window, or choose File New Window to open a non-private window. Do any of the following to further enhance privacy: Delete any items you downloaded while using private windows.
