Concealed questions (CQs) are determiner phrases that are interpreted as if they were embedded questions. For instance, Eves phone number in Adam knows Eves phone number is interpreted as having the meaning of the question what Eves phone number is. CQs raise two preliminary challenges.
In the Unified Modeling Language (UML), a Dependency is a relationship that shows that an element, or set of elements, requires other model elements for their specification or implementation. The element is dependent upon the independent element, called the supplier.
The lollipop notation is normally used to show dependencies from elements to the interface, while the box notation allows a more detailed description of the interfaces syntax, such as the operations it provides.
Example. In an e-commerce application, a Cart class depends on a Product class because the Cart class uses the Product class as a parameter for an add operation. In a class diagram, a dependency relationship points from the Cart class to the Product class.
Annotational things can be defined as a mechanism to capture remarks, descriptions, and comments of UML model elements. Note - It is the only one Annotational thing available. A note is used to render comments, constraints, etc. of an UML element.
Indicate a dependency relationship between UML elements Glue the endpoint without an arrowhead to a connection point on the element that depends on the other element. Double-click the dependency to add a name, stereotype, and other properties.
For example, in most countries, a person who is married to one person cannot be legally married to another person at the same time. Entity-relationship dependencies can also be based on particular conditions or states.
Dependencies in UML indicate that a source element, also called the client, and target element, also called the supplier, are related so that the source element makes use of, or depends upon, the target element. Changes in the behavior or structure of the target may mean changes in the source.
