Some of the best file formats for printing are: TIFF. TIFF files are an excellent choice for almost every printing session. PNG. PNG files offer many of the same advantages as TIFF files, and its an excellent choice for printing photos. PDF. If exact formatting matters, opt for PDF. JPEG.
While printing is not illegal, it can be unadvisable. Some people are afraid of guns and those that choose to carry, so if people can see your firearm under your clothes, sometimes they overreact.
Carrying concealed means tucking away your firearm so nobody knows its there but if its printing or showing through your clothing, you may as well open carry.
Printing Isnt Technically Prohibited Some statutes imply a handgun must be completely unnoticeable through any clothing youre wearing while carrying. However, whats referred to as printing isnt technically prohibited anywhere in Texas.
The main advantage of shooting in RAW is that you end up with high-quality files to edit into the best possible image. Capturing and storing all the details that pass through your cameras sensors means RAW files contain a wider dynamic range and far greater color spectrum than JPEGs.
The answer to that question really boils down to your end goal. If you are taking your camera out with the intent to capture high-quality imagery for printing purposes, RAW should always be your go-to.
In general, its best to aim for about 300 dots per inch (DPI) for quality prints.
One of the largest benefits of RAW is the ability to recover shadows and highlights in post-processing without bringing in the grainy noise usually associated with high ISO settings. RAWs are very forgiving if you have severely underexposed or overexposed areas.
