Hiding text within an image file is one of the tricks used in Steganography. Using this trick you can hide any text information or a message within an image file irrespective of the fact that how long your information or message is.
Right-click on the file or folder. Select Compressed (zipped) folder. To place multiple files into a zip folder, select all of the files while hitting the Ctrl button. Then, right-click on one of the files, move your cursor over the Send to option and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
How to unzip files in Windows 10 Right-click the ZIP file. In the drop-down menu, click Extract All The zip wizard will appear. If you want to unzip the files to a different folder, click Browse and choose a location. Click Extract and the files will be unzipped and copied to the folder you chose.
Steganography using Steghide. Steghide is an open source image steganography tool that uses the least docHub bit (LSB) method to hide data in images. Images are made up of pixels, which are made up of bits. The bit depth determines how many colours are present in an image.
Select the files you want to hide, press Ctrl + C , go to your desktop, and press Ctrl + V , then do the same with the image you want to use. Select the file(s) you want to hide. Click and drag your mouse cursor across the list of files you want to hide. If youre just hiding one file, click once the file to select it.
in Windows Open your command prompt: Type [Window Key]+R In the run dialog type cmd without quotes. And press enter. Now you must know where your image and zip file are located on your computer. Mine just so happens to be on the desktop and so that is what this command sequence is for.
If you have Windows, a compressed folder will usually have the file extension . zip (winzip) or it could be . rar (winrar).
Enter the Hide command. The command for hiding a ZIP folder inside of an image is as follows: cat image. extension Archive. zip image2. extension where image.
