Apply the Clipping Mask: Right-click on the text box, select Format Shape, and then navigate to the Fill section. Choose the Picture or texture fill option, and select your image or shape as the fill source.
To do this, select the text you want to blur, then click on the Format tab at the top of the page. From here, select the Artistic Effects option, then select the Blur option. This will open a window with a slider that you can use to adjust the level of blur.
At the bottom of the gallery of options, select Artistic Effects Options. In the Format Picture pane on the side, under Artistic Effects, adjust the Radius value to a number between 0 and 100. The higher the number, the more blurry the image becomes.
