Do you want to hide the Dock on your Mac? While useful, the Dock can occasionally get in the way. OS X offers an option to hide the Dock unless you purposefully move your mouse to the bottom of the screen. There are two ways to hide the dock: The first is from the Dock itself, simply move your mouse to the right-hand side of the dock near the small vertical line which separates apps from folders and documents. Once your cursor changes, right-click and select Turn Hiding On. If you donamp;#39;t have right click on your mouse, you can go to the Apple Menu and select System Preferences. The third icon in the top row will be for the Dock. From here you can toggle the option to hide and show the dock with this checkbox. With the dock hidden, all you need to do is move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and the dock will pop up temporarily to give you access to your icons. I hope you found this helpful.
