hey whatamp;#39;s up this is Scott with level of Tutamp;#39;s and today Iamp;#39;m sure you have to turn off some of these annoying blocks that come on Magento by default built in to their default theme so smooth these blocks you may have noticed uh so this may look different than yours because I have our theme installed on it but if you were seeing this typically youamp;#39;d be seeing this PayPal logo right here in the right sidebar and thereamp;#39;s a whole bunch of these other blocks like the the card in the sidebar the back to school logo the dog picture these are sort of things that pop up throughout magenta that theyamp;#39;ve put in here by default and letamp;#39;s say you just want to turn them off okay so weamp;#39;re going to be doing that by using a file called local XML and what this is is this file is going to be the last file that magenta looks to when determining these layouts and because of that youamp;#39;re able to put anything that you want to override in

Select Insert Page Break. If your application is resized so that you cannot see the text, look for the Page Break icon . A gray bar is displayed in the XML Editor, and it is also represented by a structure bar on the left side of the XML Editor.
Using replace() Method In this approach, we are using the replace() method with a regular expression to search for characters , , , and in the XML data and replace them with their respective XML entities (lt;, gt;, quot;, apos;, amp;).
To override the default serialization of a field or property, create an XmlAttributes object, and set its XmlIgnore property to true . Add the object to an XmlAttributeOverrides object and specify the type of the object that contains the field or property to ignore, and the name of the field or property to ignore.
To make the XML parser ignore a certain section of an XML document, you can use the syntax to indicate the end of the section to be ignored.
One way to hide the element is to disabled the particular element using the System. xml file. The instruction below detailed how you edit the applicable system. xml file to hide user interface elements permanently.
Viewing XML Files Most browsers will display an XML document with color-coded elements. Often a plus (+) or minus sign (-) to the left of the elements can be clicked to expand or collapse the element structure. To view raw XML source, try to select View Page Source or View Source from the browser menu.
XML standards specify how XML processors should handle the whitespace. XML Parsing: The XML spec provides a built-in attribute xml:space to tell the XML parser whether it should ignore the whitespace characters. This attribute is inherited by child elements from their root element.
Ignore XML Attribute. You can specify ignore=true or ignore=false. The default value is false. Specifying ignore=false has no effect on the attribute value assigned when an object of the type specified in the rule is created and no effect on the constraints.
