There are various ways to redact text in Google Docs. The first is to use the built-in find and replace feature. Just go to the Edit menu and click Find and Replace. Then, enter the text you want to redact in the Find field and leave the Replace field blank. Click Replace all, and the text will be hidden.
You can quickly add an outline level and make part of your document collapsible by adding a heading using Words built-in styles. After applying the heading style, youll see a small triangle when you move your cursor over the heading. Click the triangle to collapse the body text and subheadings below it.

To hide text using font color, follow these steps: Select the text you want to hide. Go to the Format menu and choose Text or simply right-click on the selected text. Select Text color and choose the same color as the documents background.
Write title text for the spoiler. From the toolbar, change the title text from Normal, to a heading. Write text inside the body of the spoiler. To finish off the spoiler, you either need another header after the body, or the end of the document.
