Github and Reddit allow to create strikethrough text by surrounding a word with double tildes (~~).
To strikethrough words, use two tilde symbols ( ~~ ) before and after the words.
To strikethrough text, put two tildes (~) on both ends of the text you want to cross out. On a computer, you can highlight your text to open the context menu, then click the strikethrough symbol. To underline text, put two underscores () on each end. To bold text, put two asterisk (*) on each end.
In CSS, a margin is the space around an elements border, while padding is the space between an elements border and the elements content. Put another way, the margin property controls the space outside an element, and the padding property controls the space inside an element. Lets explore margins first.
To use strikethrough, all you need to do is click the icon found in the upper ribbon in your word processor (usually next to other formatting options such as bold, italic), or if possible, a keyboard shortcut may work, such as ctrl+u for Microsoft word, and some others.
Using markdown, you can cross out text (strikethrough text) by putting two tildes (~) before and after the words you want to cross out.
The margin property sets or returns the margins of an element. This property can take from one to four values: One value, like: div {margin: 50px} - all four margins will be 50px. Two values, like: div {margin: 50px 10px} - the top and bottom margins will be 50px, left and right margins will be 10px.
In Markdown, you can add space between two lines by pressing Enter/Return key.
