Heading ranks Nest headings by their rank (or level). The most important heading has the rank 1 ( ), the least important heading rank 6 ( ). Headings with an equal or higher rank start a new section, headings with a lower rank start new subsections that are part of the higher ranked section.
Check that the navigation pane options are correctly configured. Go to the View tab, click the drop-down arrow in the Navigation Pane group, and select Options. In the Options dialog box, make sure the Show Heading Levels option is selected and set to the desired level.
The Navigation Pane is the main way you view and access all your database objects and it displays on the left side of the Access window by default.
Just follow these steps: Open your document and go to the Insert tab. Select Header from the navigation bar. Choose Remove Header from the drop-down menu. Your header is now gone!
