hey everybody welcome back to the build show Steve basic architect here and uh today weamp;#39;re going to talk about a real simple detail thatamp;#39;s uh one of my favorites when weamp;#39;re laying out the framing plan but uh itamp;#39;s a pretty neat little trick to it right so a lot of times we have basement windows this is a full Foundation basement window and we want to put the window as high as we possibly can in the basement wall so that we can bring the grade up as high as we can in a lot of cases weamp;#39;re always challenged for Dimension there and so we really donamp;#39;t have room to put a header in here we donamp;#39;t want to push that window down so the question is how do we solve that problem well I solved the problem by putting the header inside the floor frame here so you can see we have our standard 3 rejoiced here that runs down along the outside of the rim closing in all of the floor joists but if we look at where the window is and we come up we notice t
