hi and in todayamp;#39;s microsoft word tutorial iamp;#39;m going to show you how to have a header on just the first page of your document so iamp;#39;ve just opened a random document here with some random text and the first thing i need to do is to enter my header so iamp;#39;m going to double click at the top of my page here alternatively you can go up to insert header or footer and just click on header and then just select the first blank header and iamp;#39;ll just go ahead and insert my text now as you can see this text has appeared on my first page and of course my second page and it would again appear on any subsequent pages so we now have to tell word to split the document into sections so iamp;#39;m going to double click on my text here which will take me out of the headers and footers so iamp;#39;ve just made sure that my cursor is the very bottom of my first page thatamp;#39;s where i want to insert my section break then go up to the layout tab go down to this icon h

You can always have your titles/headings stick with the following text, by simply ticking one box! Triple-click your heading to select it. Right-click and select Paragraph. Under the Line and Page Breaks tab, tick the box that says Keep with next. Click OK. Presto! The heading automatically moves to the next page.
Check your margins, header/footer size and line spacing (text gets cut off if line spacing is set to a specific number of points and is smaller than text size. Set to single).
Click on the fourth icon (Page Styles) from the left in the toolbar. Right click on the current (highlighted) style, likely to be Default Style and choose Modify . Go to the Footer and header tabs to disable (uncheck) the footer and header.
In the documents appearing without a header or footer, please choose the View tab and check that youre in Print Layout view. All other views hide them.
Click or tap the page at the beginning of a section. Select Layout Breaks Next Page. Double-click the header or footer on the first page of the new section. Click Link to Previous to turn it off and unlink the header or footer from the previous section.

If you want to remove a header, click on the Header button and select Remove Header on the drop-down menu. If you want to remove a footer, click the Footer button and select Remove Footer from the drop-down menu.
Step 1- press Crtl and home at the same time, this will make sure you are at the start of the document. Step 2 Click on Breaks, then in that drop down box click on continuous. Step 3 Click file up at the top left. Step 4 click on info then click on Protect Document.
