You can save your Final Draft file as an RTF file, then open it in the other program. Go to File Export; Under Save As Type dropdown on Windows or the Format dropdown on Mac, choose RTF or Rich Text Format.
In Final Draft 13, a scene row can be dragged from one place to another and the scene will be moved ingly in the script. In earlier versions of Final Draft, scenes cant be moved in the Navigator. For information on upgrading to Final Draft 13, click HERE.
Place your cursor in the Scene Heading of the scene you want to omit; Go to Production Omit Scene. This will replace the Scene Heading information with Omitted. Click on the right-pointing arrow to either view or unomit the scene.
To omit a scene Place the cursor in the scene to be omitted; Choose Production Omit Scene.
To retrieve an omitted scene and put it back into the script Double-click the triangle icon and a dialogue appears; Click Unomit.
Simply click and drag a beat into the Outline Editor to add it to one of the lanes. Outline 1 can be used for big, high-level beats like acts or sequences, while Outline 2 can be more granular, or even arranged scene by scene.
