hello guys vortex city back here with another mac tutorial and today Iamp;#39;ll be showing you how you can move the dock and hide it so what youamp;#39;re gonna want to do is head over to these settings or System Preferences whatever you prefer then here on the top row youamp;#39;re just gonna hit the dock and right here youamp;#39;re gonna see the position on the screen this essentially controls where the dock is located on your home screen so if you choose the bottom it moves to the bottom and if you choose the right and used to the right just like that so you can have it on the bottom left or right wherever you want sadly you canamp;#39;t have it on the top although that would be weird as it might interrupt other buttons up there so you got left bottom right I normally keep it on the left just cuz it conserves space on your desktop and then of course if you want to hide the dock because itamp;#39;s annoying when youamp;#39;re doing other things and you want to have that extr

Use the right-click menu instead. Right-click the icon (or hold down Control and click). Hover over Options. Select Remove from Dock. If the Options sub-menu says Keep in Dock as well, the program is open. Click Keep in Dock to uncheck that option, and the program will disappear from the Dock once you close it.
