Advantages of XHTML XHTML is easier to maintain as the rules are clear. There is less scope for errors. It is easy to upgrade the documents. XHTML is sustainable. More and more web applications are moving towards XML, which will eventually lead to XHTML becoming widespread.
XHTML Mobile Profile (XHTML MP) is an obsolete hypertextual computer language designed specifically for mobile phones and other resource-constrained devices. It is an XHTML document type defined by the Open Mobile Alliance.
XHTML has three main types of markup: elements, attributes, and values. Elements identify document structure and can contain text, other elements, or nothing at all. Attributes contain information pertaining to an element. In XHTML, attribute values must always be enclosed in quotation marks.
HTML (HypertextMarkup Language) and XHTML (ExtensibleHypertext Markup Language) are both markup languages used for creating and displaying web pages. The main difference between them is the syntax and structure; HTML is more lenient in its syntax, while XHTML has a more strict syntax and follows XML rules.
The type=hidden control is used to add content to the form that cannot be viewed or changed by the user. When the form is submitted, the hidden content is passed along with all the other contents of the form. The hidden content is essentialy a name/value pair.
Background attribute Open the HTML file in text editor. Within the starting tag in your Html file, type Give the path of the image we want to add. (Example, Save the Html file in the text editor and run the file.
XHTML documents are validated with standard XML tools. It is easily to maintain, convert, edit document in the long run. It is used to define the quality standard of web pages. XHTML is an official standard of the W3C, your website becomes more compatible and accurate with many browsers.
That is, the attribute alone is enough, so that when the attribute is set without a value, it counts as true. In XML-based languages, attribute minimization is disallowed and attributes must have a value; for example, in XHTML, checked is invalid, and must be written checked=checked .
