you can use the date add function to add or subtract a time interval from a date here is syntax there are three required arguments in the date add function interval string expression that is the interval of time you want to add for example year month etc number the number of intervals to add a positive number returns a date in the future a negative number returns a date in the past date date to which the interval is added or subtracted to find the expiry date which is 30 days from manufacture date you can use the date add function on the create tab in the queries group click on query design add the table food products add the fields product id product and manufacture date to add days to date you can use day of the year y day d or weekday w enter these expressions enter d y and w as interval argument and 30 as number run the query we get the same results to add one year quarter and month use these expressions pass y yyyy for year q for quarter and m for month pass one for number run the
