letamp;#39;s talk about the zero trust Network and why it is important for you to use a Zer trust Network so whenever I try to use my devices along with my cloud service provider so I just try to rely on a zero trust Network Because by the definition zero trust Network provides you a trust list where you know like which kind of a client or which kind of a user are trying to access your resources and these resources can be your cloud services which are running on AWS Google Cloud Azure or even on to on premise here onto the screen you can see some of my client or my devices which are like a laptop iPad and iPhone which are trying to access the resources which are running onto the cloud service provider which I have highlighted at the bottom which can be AWS gcp or Azure so if Iamp;#39;m trying to set up the zero trust network setup so what I want is my laptop should be able to communicate with my iPad and iPhone as well as all these devices should be able to access those services from

Disabling an AMI changes its state to disabled, makes the AMI private if it was previously shared, and prevents any new EC2 instance launches from that disabled AMI.
When you deregister the AMI, it is simply deleted. However, all the snapshots that were attached to the AMI remain and need to be deleted manually.
You cant delete a snapshot of the root device of an EBS volume used by a registered AMI. This consideration applies even if the registered AMI is deprecated or disabled. You must first deregister the AMI before you can delete the snapshot. For more information, see Deregister your AMI.
It isnt possible to restore or recover a deleted or deregistered AMI. However, you can create a new, identical AMI using one of the following: Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) snapshots that were created as backups.
Go to the AWS EC2 console and AMI section. Select the desired AMI. Next, select the Deregister option in the Actions tab. Select the Continue option to deregister.
Using the AWS Console: See through the Instances column whether the security groups have zero active instances or not. Instances for unused security groups will have a 0 value. You can also view load balancers, network interfaces, and Amazon RDS DB instances associated with security groups.
Using aws ec2 describe-snapshots --snapshot-ids $snapshotid , I could get the corresponding volume as shown in the example. Using this info and aws ec2 describe-volumes --volume-ids $volume could lead me to its status (is it in-use?) as in here. So, this is my way of knowing if a private AMI of mine is being used.
Using AWS Console 02 Navigate to Amazon EC2 console at . 03 In the navigation panel, under Images, choose AMIs. 04 Select the Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that you want to examine. 05 Select the Details tab from the console bottom panel and copy the AMI ID attribute value.
