today on the host project weamp;#39;ve actually moved this mobi tower a couple of times just as weamp;#39;ve been working in one area and each time itamp;#39;s pretty much the same process setting it up weamp;#39;ll bring the uprights around put the casters in adjust them up and then itamp;#39;s the plane brace which handily enough has got red tags at the end green is the diagonal black is my horizontals platform in with the kickboard thatamp;#39;s all an actually foldable collapsible kickboard that goes around and then of course iamp;#39;ve got the outriggers because my working platform is at about what three metres high it goes up pretty quick itamp;#39;s a great platform to work on and the beauty is when i need to go back around the other side i reckon about 15-20 minutes and iamp;#39;m set up and working on the other side again

What is concealed in construction?

Concealed and Concealed Work means Work installed in spaces out of sight. For example, above ceilings, below floors, between double walls, within furred-in areas, within pipe and duct shafts, behind cabinets, and similar locations and spaces not exposed to view.

What is concealed beam in construction?

Hidden beams, also referred to as concealed beams, are structural elements defined by having a depth equivalent to the thickness of the slab they support.

Is concealed beam safe?

1️⃣ Structural Integrity: The addition of a hidden beam can compromise the structural integrity of the slab if not properly designed and implemented. This can result in structural failures and safety hazards.

What is the difference between beam and hidden beam?

Beams normally have a depth larger than the slab it is lifting, however, hidden beams have the same depth as the slab, but it is reinforced separately from the slab, having stirrups and longitudinal bars just as a normal beam. Hence they cant be seen after fulfilling it with concrete. They are hidden in the slab.

What size is a concealed beam?

To function like a beam, the hidden beam should have sufficient depth. Hence they can be used to span 1.8-2 m only. They are usually used to carry 115 mm thick partition(brick) walls and have width equal to wall thickness + two times slab thickness.
