Go to a specific line (opens a dialog). Use Ctrl + L in the Source (Legacy) editor. Toggle commenting for selected lines. (Comment/uncomment selected text.)
You can use TeX-fold-comment ( C-c C-o C-c) to hide the comment. You need to enable TeX-fold-mode to make use of this functionality.
It is often necessary to comment out temporarily a region of TeX or LaTeX code. This can be done with the commands C-c ; and C-c % . C-c ; will comment out all lines in the current region, while C-c % will comment out the current paragraph.
Between the code and the comments panes, there is a thin vertical strip that has an arrow head pointing at the comments pane. This arrow head is centred in this thin strip. Left click it once and the comments pane is reduced to a minimum.
Click the small triangle next to the line number of the chapter, part, section, or subsection label command to fold or unfold the code. This makes it possible to hide away portions of your code that youre not currently working on. You can read more about code folding at here and here.
To create an end section or subsection in LaTeX, you can use the command \end{section} or \end{subsection} respectively. These commands should be placed at the end of the section or subsection you want to mark.
