Delete all comments Select a comment. On the Review tab, go to Comments. In the Delete drop-down list, select Delete All Comments in Document.
How to disable the review markup area? Open your Word document. In the panel on the right, you can see the comments area. Next, go to Review; and All Markup Menu. In the dropdown menu, multiple options like All Marked, Simple Marked, Original, and No Marked. Print your document.
Sometimes, you may want to hide track changes in Word for a cleaner view as you edit. To do this, Go to the Review tab, and in the Tracking group, click on Show Markup. Here you can choose to hide various types of markup like comments, formatting, and specific reviewers changes temporarily without removing them.
How do I make a clean copy of a Word document after track changes? You will need to save your document with all the changes accepted, you can choose to add the word clean to the file name to indicate that this copy has all of the tracked changes and comments removed.

Open a document that contains comments. Select the Review tab in the ribbon. Under Delete, select Delete all comments in Document.
If you dont want to permanently delete your comments, but you also dont want to have any on display, you can hide all your comments in Word: Click Review to show all the options. Under Tracking, click Show Markup. Click on comments to deselect and hide your comments.
When youre drafting a comment, your comment cant be seen by others. After you post, others will be able to see your comment.
