Jim Shaw here again from Crystal Group. Wanted to talk a little bit today about humidity protection and conformal coating, a very important aspect of ruggedized COTS in the industry today. The correct answer in that case would be: int lastCommaIndex = someString. lastIndexOf(,); String x = someString. substring(0, lastCommaIndex -1);
PHP Code:
String x = .; //Some String ending with comma. x = x. substring(0, x. length - 1);
Best way is probably substring as mentioned by others, its also good to check for preconditions: static String removeLastComma(String str) { final int len = str. length(); return len 0 str. charAt(len - 1) == , ? str. substring(0, len - 1) : str; }
You may use the rtrim function. The following code will remove all trailing commas: rtrim($mystring, ,);
To remove the last comma from a string in JavaScript, you can follow these simple steps: Step 1: Identify the String. Step 2: Check if the Last Character is a Comma. Step 3: Remove the Last Comma. Approach 1: Using slice() method. Example Code Snippets. Example 1: Removing the Last Comma from Multiple Strings. Conclusion.
Using StringUtils. The StringUtils class provides a chop() method to remove the last character from a string. The method parses a parameter of type String. It also accepts null, as a parameter. It returns the string after removing the last character.
