hi in this video weamp;#39;re going to show you how to change the character spacing between words also known as kerning in microsoft word so letamp;#39;s say you have this document here and you really like this font but you think that the character is kind of close together you know itamp;#39;s a condensed font after all so rather than change the font you could try changing the kerning to see if that makes it look better for you so to do that all you got to do is highlight the text you want to change then in the home tab on the font group click on the arrow here and then on the advanced tab youamp;#39;ll have the character spacing sections and a little preview down here thereamp;#39;s a scale setting if you want to play with that and kind of show you what it does there but thatamp;#39;s probably not going to help you in this case so letamp;#39;s go back to the spacing so thereamp;#39;s three built-in kind of settings here normal and expanded and you can see the preview here so
