hi folks and welcome back to this weekamp;#39;s modern learning tip of the week this week Iamp;#39;m going to be sharing with you a feature in Google Docs where you can insert special characters through drawing them so some of you may know if you come to the insert menu here that you can scroll down to special characters and there are a number of special characters that we can choose from and they show up here and weamp;#39;ve got a bunch of lists that we can choose from as well we can do a search over here if we want but what we can also do is we can draw our special character right in this box here so for example if I was looking for maybe a music note then I might try my try my best to draw a music note maybe that one didnamp;#39;t work so Iamp;#39;ll try something a little different and there we go so here Iamp;#39;ve got a quarter note and now I can insert that quarter note into my Google Doc maybe Iamp;#39;m looking for the Omega symbol so I can try and draw the Omega symb

Write title text for the spoiler. From the toolbar, change the title text from Normal, to a heading. Write text inside the body of the spoiler. To finish off the spoiler, you either need another header after the body, or the end of the document.
Hidden text is an ingenious feature in Google Docs that allows you to conceal certain parts of your document without deleting them. This can be particularly useful in various scenarios, such as collaborative editing, proofreading, or version control.
To see the hidden characters in a Google Docs, Click somewhere in the Doc. Click View. Click Show non-printing characters. Click to Scroll down your Doc to see all of your hidden formatting symbols.
This is a new feature in Docs, and its not possible at this time to hide it.
How to Hide Text in Google Docs Select the text you want to hide. Go to the Format menu and choose Text or simply right-click on the selected text. Select Text color and choose the same color as the documents background.
You can structure your Google Doc with the document outline feature. The outline detects and lists headings from your text to help organize your document. In the outline, you can also add a summary for your document. You can also show or hide rulers and non-printing characters to help format your document.
Use the built-in redaction tool: Google Docs comes with a built-in tool for redacting PDFs. Open the PDF in Google Docs and click the Edit button to use it. Then, click the Redact option from the menu that appears.
Use collapsible headings in your Google Doc If your document is in pageless mode, you can expand and collapse your titles and headings to organize your content or hide certain sections. Tip: Anyone that has edit, comment, or view access to a Google Doc can expand and collapse headings.
