hi Iamp;#39;m doctor Wendy Wagner and today Iamp;#39;m going to talk about abnormal pap smears itamp;#39;s a common thing to get an abnormal pap very very common itamp;#39;s also very common for people to have a lot of anxiety about it which some a lot of which is unnecessary so very quickly when we do a pap smear basically itamp;#39;s getting smear of cervical cells from the surface of the cervix it gets buried on a slide sometimes they do it some different ways now but essentially look at the cells and see how abnormal they are theyamp;#39;re either normal slightly abnormal low grade or high grade so put the normal pap smears into these different categories so when you get a call if you do get a call saying that you have a normal path thereamp;#39;s a bunch of different possibilities the first one is called an ass piss path and itamp;#39;s abnormal cells of undetermined significance okay we donamp;#39;t worry too much about this because itamp;#39;s a very low grade
