You can either show or hide gridlines on a worksheet in Excel for the web. On the View tab, in the Show group, select the Gridlines check box to show gridlines, or clear the check box to hide them. Make Excel hide gridlines only in specific cells Select the range where you want to remove lines. Right-click on the selection and choose Format Cells from the context menu. Make sure that you are on the Border tab in the Format Cells window. Choose the white color and press the Outline and Inside buttons under Presets.

Navigate to View Menu To remove gridlines in Google Sheets, start by opening your Google Sheet spreadsheet and clicking View from the menu bar. From the View menu, select Show gridlines option to uncheck it. Once thats unchecked, all gridlines between cells across your spreadsheet will disappear from view.
Go to Design Page Borders. In the Borders and Shading box, on the Page Border tab, select the arrow next to Apply to and choose the page (or pages) you want to remove the border from. Under Setting, select None, and then select OK.
