The fastest way to hide Excel ribbon is to press Ctrl + F1. Double-click a tab. The ribbon can also be collapsed by double-clicking an active tab. Arrow button.

Remove headers or footers Go to Insert Header Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. Select the left, center, or right header or the footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page. Press Delete or Backspace.
Double-click any of the ribbon tabs or press CTRL+F1 to collapse the ribbon if you need to see more of your document. To see the ribbon again, just double-click any ribbon tab, or press CTRL+F1.

Click anywhere in the table. Go to Table Tools Design on the Ribbon. In the Table Style Options group, select the Header Row check box to hide or display the table headers.
If you want the row and column headers always visible when you scroll through your worksheet, you can lock the top row and/or first column. Tap View Freeze Panes, and then tap the option you need.
