Unfortumately WPF does not provide any function to remove the icon of a window. One solution could be setting the icon to a transparent icon. But this way the extra space between the window border and title remains. The better approach is to use a function provided by the Win32 API to remove the icon.
If all you want to do is have a control bound to a query and you dont want the arrow, simply make a little text box to cover the arrow and set the border to transparent. Your combobox will work as normal and the arrow will never be seen.
If you need to change only the icon that is used to expand an item, you can use the ExpanderStyle property of the RadTreeView. The icon is a ToggleButton, so any style that can be applied to a ToggleButton can be applied to the icon too.
To hide that expander button, you can override the RowHeaderCellStyle and ColumnHeaderCellStyle using the following steps. Step 2: Apply this defined row style to RowHeaderCellStyle and ColumnHeaderCellStyle property using Style property. Step 3: Now the PivotGrid has been shown with Text alone without expander button.
Use the ResizeMode property By setting the ResizeMode property to CanMinimize only the Minimize button will be visible. The maximize button will be hidden and the resizing will be disabled.
You can set the content area of an Expander control to expand in one of four directions (Down, Up, Left, or Right) by using the ExpandDirection property. When the content area is collapsed, only the ExpanderHeader and its toggle button appear.
