this is going to be a quick tutorial on how to use the concatenate function to link both texts and the result of a function and were going to actually embed that within an if-then statement for the formula to do even more work for us basically what were going to use for an example is this product 1 and product to where unfortunately product to looks like its losing us some money the cost of goods sold is less than the sales amount whereas product one is earning us a little bit of money but were going to do this with an if-then statement so if we had a huge list of of products then we dont have to go in and manually look at everything and we can just have the if-then statement return a result with the text saying whether we either earned X number of dollars a lost X number of dollars so were going to start this out with the if function and then were going to test to see if the cost of goods sold is greater than the sales price if thats the case then we want it to say that we ha
