Please check the format of the cell, some time concatenation will not work if the format of cell is text type, change it to number and try again.
The limitation of the CONCATENATE function is that we cannot pass a range of values as an argument. As a result, the user has to enter individual cell references one by one in the function.
If youre typing a formula, you may sometimes want a cell reference to stay locked on a specific cell or cell range even if the formula is copied. To do this, youll need to change the cell reference to an absolute reference by adding dollar signs before the row and column (for example, $D$2).
$D$21:$D$44 is the column of numbers to add, the amount column. $B$21:$B$44 is the first criteria range, the region column. B10 is the first criteria value, the region. $C$21:$C$44 is the second criteria range, the department column.
On most laptops, this can be done by pressing Shift + Num Lock or Fn + Num Lock. To add a bullet symbol to a cell that already contains text, double-click the cell to enter the Edit mode, place the cursor where you want to insert the bullet, and then press Alt + 7 or Alt + 9.
The dollar sign fixes the reference to a given cell, so that it remains unchanged no matter where the formula moves. In other words, using $ in cell references allows you to copy the formula in Excel without changing references.
If you want to insert multiple bullets in different lines in the same cell, press Alt + Enter to go to a new line in the same cell. Now again, hold the ALT key and press the number 7 on the number keypad. You need to have NumLock turned on for this bullet point Google Sheets method.
4. Create a Bulleted List in a Single Cell Double-click on the cell. Use a keyboard shortcut or the Symbol dialog box to insert a bullet. Type your text and then press Alt + Enter to go to the next line in the cell. Insert a bullet symbol and type your text. Repeat until youve typed all the items in your bulleted list.
To create a bulleted list in one single cell, you just need some shortcuts. Select a blank cell that you want to create a bulleted list, and hold Alt key, press 0149 in the number tab, and then a bullet is inserted. Then type the value you need, hold Alt key, press Enter key to go to next line in the cell.
Select a blank cell, and then on the Insert tab, click Symbol. At the bottom of the dialog box, type 2022 in the Character code box. Then click Insert, and Close. If you need another bullet on a new line underneath, type ALT+ENTER and repeat the process.
