need, and then do a Save As, but Im gonna show you two other ways to fix this. So the first thing Im gonna do is I want to see what objects are in here. I dont want to have any objects in here that I dont need. So Im gonna go to the Home tab, Find and Select, selection pane. The selection pane has opened up off to the right and its telling me I have six objects. Theres four charts down here. People love to just add objects and move objects, but then they forget about them. So thats something to check when you have a file that is just ballooning up in size. So Im gonna click them and Im gonna hit the Delete key. Those objects are gone. Go right back to File and Info. The file size is now 18.2 MB, so that definitely helped. It took two MB out. Its this worksheet that Im on right now is the one thats causing the issue. Now, the moment youve all been waiting for. The sure fire way to fix this: go to that worksheet thats giving you problems. Highlight all the rows and columns. If you hit the Delete key now, this will not work. What you have to do is on the Home tab, go to sort and filter, and sort by cell color. Just hit OK and boom. From 18.2 down to 4.87 MB, I thank you very much.
