In this article Select the Insert tab. Select Object, and then select Text from File from the drop-down menu. Select the files to be merged into the current document. The simplest is to re-save your file as a reduced-size PDF. In the latest version of docHub, open the PDF you wish to re-save as a smaller file, choose File, Save as Other, and then Reduced Size PDF.
Select the text that you want to change. On the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher, and then click the Advanced tab. Note: If youre using Word 2007 the tab is called Character Spacing. In the Spacing box, click Expanded or Condensed, and then specify how much space you want in the By box.
Go to File Options Save. Under Preserve fidelity when saving this document, do either of the following: Make sure that Embed fonts in the file is not selected. If you do embed fonts, select Embed only the characters used in the document (best for reducing file size) and Do not embed common system fonts.
In the opening Merge Documents dialog box, please add documents you will merge: (1) Click Add Files button; (2) In the Browse dialog box open folder containing documents you will merge; (3) holding Ctrl or Shift key to select these documents; and then (4) click the OK button.
Avoid embedded fonts Another reason Word files may get very large is because of font embedding. Users may embed fonts if they are using a non-standard font and plan to open the file on a device that does not have the font installed.
How to Combine DOCX Files Online: Create an account. Upload the file by clicking the Add New button. Click Start Editing to proceed. Look through the toolkit and select an instrument you want to use to edit your document. Once youre ready, click Done to save all the changes. Go to the Documents tab to find the file.
How to merge DOCX files online Select or drop your DOCX documents to upload for merge. Once upload completes, drag DOCX document thumbnails to rearrange them (if needed). Click on Merge Now button to start merge process. Once your DOCX documents are merged click on Download Now button.
