In this video, Im going to show you how you can merge and combine multiple word documents into one word document. This is a technique that you can use if you have a very long document or if you have multiple documents that you want to merge into one file. Lets take a look here, I have my snap layout set up so that my main document is over here on the left hand side. This is the document that Im going to insert these other two secondary documents into. And what I wanted to show you was that I have the heading set up over here if you notice that if I click on styles I have my heading number one in blue and over here on these other two documents I made the styles a different color just so that you could see when we merge them into the main document it will take on the formatting of the main document so I have an orange heading there and on this document I have a green heading. Merge PDF files on a PC offline. Open one of the PDFs you want to combine in the Acrobat program on your PC. In the Tools tab, select Combine Files Add Files. Choose the PDFs you want to merge. Arrange your files by moving them around with your mouse or deleting files. When youre finished, select Combine Files.
Go to the Insert tab Object. In the Object dialog, go to the Create from File tab. Click on Browse. Search and select the PDF file you wish to embed. As you can see, the PDF appears right inside your Word document, and can be opened in your PDF viewer of choice.
Heres how its done: Navigate to the Acrobat online Merge PDF page on Chrome or any preferred browser. Click on Select files or drag and drop files into the drop zone using the touchpad. If you need to pull files from an additional source, click the icon with the plus sign to allow further selections.
Open your favorite web browser and navigate to Acrobat. Select Combine Files. Highlight the files you want to combine and select Save.
