Who goes to those places are from the United States. Theyamp;#39;re not going to always. Provide a valid ZIP code, so sometimes youamp;#39;ll have great zip codes that we have right here. If you have an Excel spreadsheet that includes address information, you may wish to convert 9-digit ZIP Codes to their 5-digit counterpart. This can be done by using the Convert Nine Digit ZIP Code to Five Digit ZIP Code function.
If youre importing addresses from an external file, you may notice that the leading zeros in postal codes disappear. Thats because Excel interprets the column of postal code values as numbers, when what you really need is for them to be stored and formatted as text.
