I was typing HTML wrong same goes for CSS and a lot of other Tech acronyms but wait a minute are they even really acronyms acronyms are abbreviations that are pronounced like a full word for example NASA but initialisms are like acronyms however theyamp;#39;re read letter by letter and thatamp;#39;s what HTML and CSS are HTML previously had an acronym tag but now itamp;#39;s rightfully deprecated and instead we should use the abbreviation tag and in Tech we write blog posts full of abbreviations for semantic HTML you should always wrap an abbreviation with the abbreviation tag but if we borrow a rule from research writing we can spell out the full phrase or the meaning of the abbreviation next to it the first time we use it or we could also use the title attribute inside the abbreviation tag and after that we only need to use the abbreviation tag in our document and now you know why
