You can easily clear the formatting for selected text. For instance, if you are working on a document and have applied various formatting styles to the content in your document, and none are working for you, or you want to start over, or you have copied and pasted some content from the internet and want to clear the formatting for the entire text, follow these steps: 1. Select the text for which you want to clear the formatting. 2. Click the amp;quot;Stylesamp;quot; dialog box button under the amp;quot;Stylesamp;quot; section. Alternatively, you can press the amp;quot;Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Samp;quot; keys to open the Styles pane. 3. In the Styles pane, click the amp;quot;Clear Allamp;quot; option at the top of the list, and the style of the selected text will revert to normal. 4. You can also clear the formatting by selecting the text and then clicking the amp;quot;Clear All Formattingamp;quot; button from the amp;quot;Fontamp;quot; section of the

Remove a style from the Styles gallery On the Home tab, in the Styles group, right-click the style that you want to remove from the gallery. Click Remove from Style gallery on the shortcut menu. Note: Removing a style from the gallery does not remove the style from the entries that appear in the Styles task pane.
Remove Default List Styles from Unordered List using list-style-type Property. The simplest way to remove the default bullet points is by setting the list-style-type property to none in your CSS. In this example, the list-style-type: none; rule removes the bullet points from all unordered lists () in the document.
Clear All Formatting Select the text with the formatting you want to clear. Select Home Clear All Formatting. or press Ctrl + Spacebar.
On the Home tab, right-click any style in the Styles gallery and click Modify. In the Formatting section, make any formatting changes you want, such as font style, size, or color, alignment, line spacing, or indentation. Choose whether the style change applies to the current document or to all future documents.
You do this by clicking the first style and then holding down the Ctrl key as you click on other styles. Once youve selected the set of styles to delete, click the Delete button. Delete more styles, if desired.

You can easily remove formatting from selected text using a few keyboard shortcuts: To remove character formatting from selected text, press Ctrl + spacebar.
Is there a Word strikethrough shortcut? Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
