Contact us
Tap the Review tab. Tap the control next to Track Changes to turn Track Changes on or off.
Click the Review tab on the Ribbon. Click the down arrow on Track Changes Track Changes to turn it on or off. Track Changes: On or Track Changes: Off will display on the status bar (bottom bar in the document.) If this is not showing, right-click the status bar, and check Track Changes.
When your document opens, in Words ribbon at the top, select the Review tab. On the Review tab, select Tracking Track Changes. This will disable the feature.
Use Track Changes Select Review Track Changes to turn it on. Make edits in your document and Word captures any edits you make. Select Review Track Changes to turn it off. Word stops making new edits, and any made stay in the document.
You should be able to exit the continuous scrolling by pressing the ESC key on your keyboard.
Select a comment. On the Review tab, go to Comments. In the Delete drop-down list, select Delete All Comments in Document.
How to turn off track changes in a Word document Open your Word document. Locate the Review menu at the top of it. On the right side of the Review menu, youll see an option to accept or reject changes. Go through each change and manually accept or reject it. Choose to accept all changes and stop tracking.
To completely get rid of the markup, you have to accept all changes and then turn off the tracking. On the Review tab, click the arrow on the Accept button and then click Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
