Tin is a relatively soft metal and the amount of force you can apply with a scrub sponge and an abrasive cleaner (such as Comet, Bon Ami, Bar Keepers Friend, Soft Scrub, et cetera) is enough to abrade it away.
Never clean a tin with an abrasive cleaner and use soap only when absolutely necessary. Its best to clean with a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with fresh water. After washing, wait 24 hours before putting a cover back onto a tin, as any moisture trapped inside can cause the container to rust.
Marten boots so you wont want to kick these off before the end of festival season. Try a Tin of Leather Conditioner. Get the Right Pair of Socks. Heel Grips Are Your Best Friend. Utilize a Hairdryer. Manually Stretch It Out.
Patent leather might mark fairly easily, but it cleans even easier. All you need is a couple of cloths, some water, a shoe brush and a bottle of Patent Cleaner. It shouldnt take more than 15 minutes or so.
Lightly tarnished decorative tin items and jewelry are best cleaned with soap and water. If dishwashing liquid and water isnt enough, try a light sprinkle of powdered cleanser, like Bar Keepers Friend; a paste of 2 tablespoons of baking soda mixed into 1 cup of water; or a bit of plain, white toothpaste.
Sprinkle cotton balls with baking soda and a few drops of tea tree oil, then leave them in your boots overnight. Antiseptics like rubbing alcohol can help kill the odor-causing bacteria in your boots. Pour some into a spray bottle and lightly spray the inside of your boots.
