Most people use Albums to organize their photos in the Mac Photos app. However I believe thereamp;#39;s a better way. You can use Keywords and also Descriptions and Titles to organize your photos without Albums at all. Hereamp;#39;s a sample Photo Library. I do have one Album in here. But Iamp;#39;m going to not use Albums anymore. Iamp;#39;m going to go and use Keyword. So Iamp;#39;m going to start off here selecting a photo. I can assign a keyword to it one of two ways. One is I can click the information button here. Iamp;#39;ll use Command i and then it says Assign Keyword and then I can type a keyword in here. So let me do that. In Finder, go the menu item FinderSettings and then click on the Tags tab. This will list all the tags you have on your Mac. This will remove the selected tag from the list of tags and remove it from any item that was tagged with it.
Remove tags from your Mac: In the Finder, choose Finder Settings, then click Tags. Select the tags you want to remove, then click the Remove button .
Choose Apple menu System Settings, then click General in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click Transfer or Reset on the right, then click Erase All Contents and Settings. In Erase Assistant, enter your administrator information and click Unlock.
Adding a file to the Finder sidebar only creates a shortcut to the file; the file isnt moved from its original location. Add an app to the sidebar: Press and hold the Command key, then drag the app icon to the Favourites section. Remove an item: Drag the items icon out of the sidebar until you see the remove sign .
File tags are used to identify the code set of text data within files. When Enhanced ASCII functionality is enabled, z/OS UNIX needs to know whether files are encoded as ASCII or EBCDIC. The file tag provides this data. If no file tag exists on a particular file, that file is treated as an EBCDIC file.
You can tag files and folders to make them easier to find. Tags work with all your files and folders, whether you store them on your Mac or keep them in iCloud.
Delete a tag: Select the tag, then click the Remove button . Add a tag to the shortcut menu: Select the tag in the list, then drag it over the tag you want to replace in the favorites section at the bottom of the window.
