so guys, bussing tables! In front of me I have all the plates that you will find on the table when the guests are finished with their meal. Four people, two tafelspitz one backhandel one goulash, side dishes for the taflespits, sauces and potato salad. When the guests are done and you have to buss the tables those are the plates that will be there I will show you how I do it I prefer to take all the planes at once I donamp;#39;t need to make two trips to the kitchen and come back and wasting valuable time. So letamp;#39;s start, what I do first, I go with the big plates those plates Iamp;#39;ll take it first of course if you want to if you work in a upscale restaurant youamp;#39;re gonna have to file a etiquette and the etiquette says you take the plates from the ladies first you going to have to follow this but right now weamp;#39;re talking about casual dining weamp;#39;re talking about 90 percent of the restaurants how you can do it you take it of course you go from the right

In America, the rule of thumb is to serve on the left! Plates, along with other serving dishes, are served on the left side of the guests. Plates are cleared from the table on the right side of the guests. Remove on the right! Simply remember the two Rs!
Place the dinner plate in the center of the table setting. The fork is placed to the left of the plate. Place the knife to the right of the dinner plate and then set the spoon to the right of the knife. Set the water glass in the top right corner, above the knife.
Remove serving platters first, then plates, and then silverware. In general, clear the largest items from the table first, and work your way down to the smallest items.
Proper Table Setting 101 The first and basic rule to get you started is: Utensils are placed in the order of use; from the outside in. A second rule, with only a few exceptions, is: Forks go to the left of the plate, and knives and spoons go to the right. Finally, only set the table with utensils you will use.
