Go to File Options Save. Under Preserve fidelity when saving this document, do either of the following: Make sure that Embed fonts in the file is not selected. If you do embed fonts, select Embed only the characters used in the document (best for reducing file size) and Do not embed common system fonts.
Turn the display of formatting marks on or off Go to File Options Display. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you dont want always displayed.
Convert a table to text Select the rows or table you want to convert to text. On the Layout tab, in the Data section, click Convert to Text. In the Convert to Text box, under Separate text with, click the separator character you want to use in place of the column boundaries. Click OK.
