here is how to reset the shape Tools in docHub After Effects CC 2023 Iamp;#39;ll select the shape tool either the polygon or the star tool while dragging out a custom shape I use the spacebar to move it around and I can use my arrow keys to get some really unique shapes so I can use the left and right arrows or I can use the up and down arrows to create some pretty cool custom shapes okay so you created this pretty cool custom shape but the problem is the next time you go to the star tool and you just want to start and draw out a shape itamp;#39;s going to draw that same custom shape or whatever you drew last the trick to resetting the shape tools back to its default settings select the shape tool that you want to reset then just simply double click on the shape tool now the next time you create a star itamp;#39;ll just be the default settings and that is how to reset the shape tool in docHub After Effects CC 2023 my name is Mike Murphy cheers
