The correct answer is Landscape.
By default, a document uses portrait orientation, because most documents are primarily text, and text works well in this vertical format. This is what it looks like when you print a portrait page.
At the bottom right of the Writer window, there are three small icons for changing the view and a zoom slider.
Landscape is the default paper orientation in LibreOffice Writer.
Select the menu Format : Page Properties , in the dialog that pops up, select the tab Page , There in the field Orientation you can select the radiobutton Portrait or Landscape .
The next time you create new or open existing document, view will automatically be set to Web Layout.
Another way is by right-clicking on default page style on the status bar across the bottom of your screen in writer, and choose landscape. You can go back to portrait quickly by right-clicking again and choosing default page style. Note that left-clicking on default page style opens up the page style dialogue box.
2 Answers File Page Preview. Format Page button at top. In the Page tab, change Orientation from Portrait to Landscape. You can adjust the scaling factor slider and margins on the page preview to make it fit. Print.
